FLiQC Next-Gen Quantum Computing School
Your launchpad into a quantum PhD and beyond.
The Quantum Computing School, to be held in Sydney on 8-9 April 2026, offers undergraduate and Honours students an intensive two-day pre-PhD ‘bootcamp’, providing a unique opportunity to deepen your knowledge of quantum science and technology.
You will connect with a cohort of like‑minded peers, exchange research ideas, and meet with early career researchers and leading academics in the field.
Carefully curated social events and other activities foster an inclusive environment that encourages collaboration and future research partnerships.
The School is free to attend. A limited number of travel scholarships are available to support interstate participants, with higher support for students travelling from Western Australia.

The Quantum Computing School is an initiative of the ARC Training Centre for Future Leaders in Quantum Computing (FLiQC) and is run in collaboration with Sydney Quantum Academy.
Who can attend
- Honours and undergraduate students based in NSW or interstate currently enrolled in a science- related degree (e.g. physics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or related disciplines)

Travel Scholarships
- A limited number of travel scholarships up to $500 are available to support interstate and regional students. Students travelling from Western Australia may receive higher support, up to $700.
- Travel support is provided as a reimbursement only. Submission of an application does not guarantee travel support
