The Next Generation Quantum Graduates Program scholarships are for outstanding domestic PhD students to undertake collaborative research in quantum science and technology at our partner universities. Students need to complete a 6-month industry placement and a coursework component designed to introduce future graduates to key concepts relevant to their studies.
Students will engage with a national cohort of peers from diverse disciplines, sharing their individual research and contribute to a larger multi-disciplinary solution addressing real-world challenges. This cohort-driven learning approach fosters critical thinking, develops cross-cutting skills, and encourages collaborative solutions.
Undertake research with leading quantum experts and their industry-engaged projects at the following universities:
- Macquarie University
- Quantum networks for communication and sensing – with BTQ | Prof Gavin Brennan and Dr Zixin Huang, co-supervisors: Dominic Berry, Peter Rohde, Alexei Gilchrist
- Emulating realistic quantum interference – with Eigensystems | Prof Peter Turner
