The Kassal Group designs quantum algorithms for simulating quantum processes in chemistry and materials science.
We aim to develop techniques that will allow quantum computers to simulate chemical reactions that cannot be described using any conventional supercomputer and, in doing so, accelerate the computational discovery of new materials, pharmaceuticals, and catalysts.
