I am a Lecturer at the School of Computer Science, University of Sydney, Australia, where I am part of the cybersecurity cluster and the Sydney Blockchain Centre.
Research Interests: Classical, Quantum and Post-quantum Cryptography and its applications, including blockchains, cryptocurrencies, fairness in multi-party computation.
More Background: I was a post-doctoral fellow at NTT Research working with Hoeteck Wee and before that, I was at Carnegie Mellon University working with Elaine Shi. Dominique Schröder was my Ph.D. supervisor at the Chair of Applied Cryptography, Friedrich Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany (2016-2021). My Ph.D. dissertation was nominated for GI Dissertationspreis 2021.
I did my Master (M.Sc, 2015-2016) in Computer Science at Universität des Saarlandes, Germany, and my bachelor’s (B.Tech, 2011 – 2015) in Computer Science & Engineering, from National Institute of Technology, Trichy, India. I attended School at DAV Boys Senior Secondary School, Gopalapuram, Chennai, (2008-2011) and DAV BHEL School, Ranipet,(1997-2008).
