2025 Conference to showcase quantum innovation in Brisbane

admin

The conference will take place outside Sydney for the first time, where it was previously managed by the Sydney Quantum Academy. The Queensland node of Quantum Australia, led by The University of Queensland (UQ) in collaboration with Griffith University and the University of Southern Queensland, will play a pivotal role in hosting and organising the event.

The World Science Festival Brisbane, starting on March 21, will coincide with the conference, creating an extended week of science and innovation. This collaboration offers attendees a unique opportunity to engage with quantum science within a broader cultural and educational context.

“We aim to raise awareness and educate industries and society about the potential of quantum technologies” said Stephanie Moroz, Principal at Davanz and Quantum Australia board member.

“As 2025 is the International Year of Quantum, our conference aligns with the World Science Festival Brisbane. This collaboration creates a streamlined experience for delegates and allows us to engage a broad audience on the opportunities within emerging quantum technologies.”
