2. What is EQWV?

Elevating Quantum Women’s Voices (EQWV) is a high-impact, 8-week initiative that empowers women in the quantum technology sector across Australia. Through hands-on training, expert coaching, and energising events, participants build the skills, confidence, and visibility they need to lead conversations and influence change in the quantum ecosystem.

This program was created to make sure women in quantum are seen, heard, and influential — shaping the future of the industry. Biliana Rajevic, Quantum Brilliance & Quantum Women

3. Why it matters?

Despite world-class research and innovation in quantum, women remain underrepresented across panels, leadership, media, and decision-making platforms. EQWV addresses this gap by:

  • Expanding the pool of confident, visible women leaders

  • Providing meaningful support, mentoring, and speaking opportunities

  • Enriching the sector with diverse perspectives and stronger representation
