This report, Quantum shift: How are Australian organisations navigating the quantum frontier?, Presents findings from a quantum readiness study undertaken by CSIRO in 2025 where we assessed four key dimensions:

  • Quantum awareness: familiarity with quantum technologies

  • Quantum readiness: preparedness for adoption

  • Quantum cyber readiness: preparation for cybersecurity risks and current encryption standards

  • Responsible quantum adoption: consideration of ethical, social and environmental impacts of quantum technologies.
