SQA awarded $1M under National Quantum Collaboration Initiative

MINISTER FOR INDUSTRY & SCIENCE | Sydney Quantum Academy has been awarded $1 million under the National Quantum Collaboration Initiative to explore options for accelerating quantum collaboration activities around Australia.
This is a rare opportunity to lead the operations and strategic delivery of a nationally recognised quantum computing research training centre (FLiQC), working alongside leading academics, researchers, industry partners, and government stakeholders
Dr Harini Hapuarachchi brings expertise in theoretical and computational approaches to emerging quantum sensing technologies, including diamond-based quantum sensors and Rydberg atom-based receivers
Lead one of CSIRO’s most diverse and strategically critical portfolios spanning technology, national research infrastructure, scientific collections and space and astronomy
